Mentorship is a relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps to guide a less experienced or less knowledgeable person. The mentor may be older or younger than the person being mentored, but he or she must have a certain area of expertise. It is a learning and development partnership between someone with vast experience and someone who wants to learn.

Coaching means partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today’s uncertain and complex world.

Counseling is the provision of assistance and guidance by a psychologist, aimed at resolving personal or social problems and difficulties--by utilizing psychological methods especially in collecting case history data, using various techniques of the personal interview, and testing interests and aptitudes.

Our approach to peer learning comes out of cognitive psychology and is an educational practice in which learners interact with other learners to attain educational goals. Whether it takes place in a formal or informal learning context, in small groups or online, peer learning manifests relevant aspects of self-organization.

Education is not an affair of 'telling' and being told, but an active and constructive process: knowledge is created through experience, rather than passed down from teacher to student through rote memorization. Knowing and doing cannot be separated: learning occurs within a context that is itself part of what is learned.

Assessment is the systematic process of documenting and using empirical data on the knowledge, skills, attitudes and beliefs, mainly to reach development’s goals. Also evaluation requires criteria, uses measures and is evidence-driven, but is mainly judgmental and oriented to grade or appraise.
